Getting Started as a Coach
Coaches use the same BookMyCourt Admin app as venue owners (App Store, Google Play, or admin.bookmycourt.lk on the web), with their own set of screens.
Getting Your Account
You can't sign up as a coach yourself. The BookMyCourt team creates your account and emails you an invitation with a temporary password.
- Open the link in the invitation email, or open the app. The link fills in your email for you.
- Enter the temporary password and tap Sign in.
- On Choose your password, enter a New password, enter it again under Confirm password, and tap Save and continue.
Your new password replaces the temporary one, and you go straight into coach setup.

Tap Forgot? on the sign-in screen to reset it by email.
Coach Setup
Setup is two short steps. It opens with a welcome screen: tap Set up my profile to start, or Skip for now to go to your dashboard and finish later.
Each step saves when you tap Continue (or Finish setup on the last step), so stopping half-way keeps what you've done. On a phone, the top bar shows Step 1 of 2 and a back arrow.

Step 1 — Profile & Rate
- Tap Upload to add a Profile photo. A clear headshot works best.
- Check your First name and Last name (both required).
- Optionally add a Profile name, the name players know you by. It's shown instead of your first and last name.
- Enter your Phone (required), so venues and players can reach you about a session.
- Tick the Sports you coach. Pick at least one.
- Under Your rate per hour, enter a price in Rs for every sport you picked. If you charge the same everywhere, fill in the first one and tap Use this rate for my other sports.
- Add a Short bio: who you coach, what you're known for, any playing background.
- Tap Continue.

Step 2 — Availability
Pick your Typical hours:
- Mornings — 06:00 – 12:00
- Evenings — 15:00 – 21:00
- All day — 07:00 – 20:00
- Custom — set each day yourself
For a pattern, tap the Days you coach (Monday to Saturday are on to start with). The card underneath adds up your bookable hours a week. Tap Finish setup when it looks right.
You can fine-tune any day later. See Availability & Time Off.

When You're Done
You're all set up lists what's ready to go live: your sports, your rate (shown as From Rs … when sports are priced differently), and your weekly hours. Anything you skipped sits under Finish later.
Tap Go to my dashboard.
Finish Setup
Until everything's done, a Finish setup card with a progress ring sits at the top of your dashboard (on desktop it's a chip in the top-right corner). Tap it to see what's left:
- Sports you coach — without one you stay hidden
- Your hourly rate
- Weekly availability — no open days means nobody can book you
- Profile photo
- Training photos (optional)
Tap any item to jump to the screen that fixes it. Finished items move under Done. Hide for now closes the panel, and the card disappears once all five are done.

Going Live
A new coach profile starts not published. Players can't find or book you until a BookMyCourt admin approves it.
- On your dashboard, find the Not published yet card.
- Tap Request to publish.
- Optionally add a Note for the reviewer, then tap Request.

The card then shows where you are:
- Publish request in review — an admin is reviewing your profile. You'll get a notification when it's decided.
- Publish request rejected — the admin's reason is shown. Fix what they asked, then send a new request from Profile.
- Hidden by platform admin — your profile was taken off the player app. Contact support, or request to publish again from Profile.
- Visible to players — you're live. The card disappears from your dashboard.
On desktop the same status is a small chip next to Finish setup at the top of the dashboard. Tap it for details.
Finding Your Way Around
On a phone, the dark bar at the bottom has Dashboard, Sessions, Availability, Reviews and More. Your notifications are behind the bell at the top right.
Tap More for Payouts, Venues and Promo codes, plus your name, which opens Profile and settings.

On desktop, every page is in the left sidebar. Your name at the bottom of the sidebar opens Profile, and the bell beside it opens notifications.
Coaches don't see the owner screens (Facilities, Bookings, Settlements).
Getting Your First Booking
Players can book you once:
- Your profile is published (above).
- Your availability has open hours. See Availability & Time Off.
To coach at a particular venue, you also need that venue's approval. See Getting Bookable at Venues.
